Reflecting the Jungle from the shimmer of the Amazon river, Emerald Estate glides you through the murky waters almost undetected due to its minimal construction but transports the passenger in mighty fine style. Echoes of distant tribal percussion layer over a groove pattern that feels like it’s about to trip over itself. Synthesizer notes drenched in sorrow are met with hopeful jazz sax licks. From a producer known for his many collaborative outings, this track demonstrates DJ Sicknote’ personal journey through the world of Drum & Bass.

Escher & Sicknote’ 2nd foray in the production studio and something extraordinary is brewing in the pot. A remedy for those who seek the realness.
